A good skincare routine doesn't need ten steps. With Vadora it's three: cleanse, treat, protect. Doing a few things well, every day, beats a shelf full of products you never finish.
The routine at a glance
- Morning: Face Wash, then Sunscreen SPF 50 PA+++
- Evening: Face Wash, then Radiance Serum
- Time it takes: about three minutes, twice a day
Why a simple routine works
Skin responds to consistency. A short routine is easier to stick to, easier to patch-test and easier to adjust if something doesn't suit you. When you use ten products at once and your skin reacts, you have no way of knowing which one was the cause. When you use three, you do.
A simple routine is also kinder to your skin barrier, the thin outer layer that keeps moisture in and irritants out. Piling on actives, scrubs and treatments can leave skin feeling tight or sensitive. Start with the basics, and only build from there if you have a specific reason to.
Morning: cleanse and protect
1. Cleanse. Start with the Sea Buckthorn Radiance Face Wash to gently lift away overnight build-up. Massage a coin-sized amount onto damp skin for 20–30 seconds with lukewarm water, rinse well and pat dry with a clean towel.
2. Protect. Finish with Sea Buckthorn Sunscreen SPF 50 PA+++ as your last step, every day, rain or shine. Sunscreen is the single most important thing you can do for your skin in the morning. Our guide to SPF 101 covers how much to use and when to reapply.
Evening: cleanse and treat
1. Cleanse again to remove sunscreen, sweat and the day's build-up. Use the same face wash, and take your time: this is the wash that matters most, because everything you applied during the day is still on your skin.
2. Treat. Press a few drops of the Sea Buckthorn Radiance Serum into damp skin. It's a lightweight night serum with sea buckthorn, niacinamide and mulberry extract, made to help brighten tone and replenish moisture while you sleep.
The three steps
How to layer your products
The general rule is thinnest to thickest. Water-like serums go on first, then creams, and sunscreen always goes last in the morning. Wait about 30–60 seconds between steps so each layer can settle, and press products into your skin with your palms rather than rubbing them in.

A gentle way to start
If you're new to the range, you don't have to begin with all three products on day one.
- Week 1: start with the face wash morning and night.
- Week 2: add the sunscreen every morning.
- Week 3: add the serum in the evening.
Patch test each new product on a small area, such as the side of your jaw, before using it on your whole face. Introducing one product at a time means that if your skin doesn't agree with something, you'll know exactly what it was.
What to expect
Skincare is not instant. Skin renews itself over roughly a month, so give any routine several weeks of steady, daily use before you judge it. In the meantime, focus on the habits that make the biggest difference: cleansing properly, wearing sunscreen every day and not picking at your skin.
Common questions
Do I need to patch test new products?
Yes. Whenever you add something new, try it on a small area first and introduce one product at a time, so you can tell how your skin responds.
Can I use the whole range together?
Yes. The face wash, serum and sunscreen are designed to work together as a simple daily routine. Browse the full range.
Can I use the serum in the morning as well?
The Radiance Serum is formulated as a night serum, so we recommend it in the evening. If you'd like to use it in the morning, apply it before sunscreen and always finish with SPF.
What if my skin feels sensitive?
Pause new products and go back to the basics: a gentle cleanse and sunscreen. If irritation continues, speak to a dermatologist.
What makes sea buckthorn special?
